AT&T Adding More Jobs For U-verse Installation

(ANDERSON) - AT&T is adding 475 more technician jobs to speed along the rollout of its U-verse internet TV service.
The company says many of the workers have already been hired this year to install U-verse in Indianapolis, Anderson, Bloomington, Kokomo and Muncie.
AT&T Indiana President George Fleetwood credits last year's telecom deregulation law with making the expansion possible.
The company has now added 1,500 jobs in Indiana since the bill became law.
