SMC Moving To Noblesville

(NOBLESVILLE) - A Japanese manufacturer is moving its North American headquarters from Indianapolis to Noblesville, and adding 275 jobs.
SMC Corporation makes air blowers for computers.
Director of Administration Kelley Stacy says the company is out of room at its Indianapolis complex.
Stacy says relocating to Noblesville will minimize the disruption to employees and keep the company close to highways. The Noblesville complex will be just off state road 37.
The Noblesville plant will break ground next spring and should open a year-and-a-half later. It'll more than triple the space SMC has in Indy, and is expandable to six times as big.
