(NEW ALBANY) - The approval process for a new three-story hotel and convention center in New Albany begins this week.
The "newsandtribune.com" is reporting that the New Albany Plan Commission will vote on plans for the facility at its meeting tonight. The proposal includes a hotel with 96 guest rooms and a two-story convention center.
The convention center would have a 10-thousand square foot assembly room and be able to accommodate 800 to 1200 people. Developers have not yet decided on a brand for the hotel.
The facility would be located adjacent to the Indiana University Southeast campus.
