Indy Chemical Plant To Build Lye And Acid Factory

(EDDYVILLE, IA.) - Indianapolis chemical distributor Harris and Ford is building a lye and hydrochloric acid factory to serve agribusiness giant Cargill.
Subsidiary Midwest Chlor-Alkali will build the plant in Eddyville, Iowa, next to a Cargill corn mill.
It'll serve that mill and seven other Cargill plants, as well as other customers.
