Mixed-Use Development For South Bend

(SOUTH BEND) - A 215 million dollar mixed-use development will get underway in South Bend this summer.
The Eddy Street Commons is part of an effort to revitalize the city's northeast neighborhood that sits right outside the University of Notre Dame.
The South Bend Common Council on Monday gave final approval to amend the city's zoning ordinance to allow for the 25-acre project.
The project will include two hotels, condominiums, retail and office space.
