Columbus Hospital Wins National Award

(COLUMBUS) - The American Hospital Association will present Columbus Regional Hospital with a national award recognizing its commitment to quality.

The hospital is the recipient of the 2007 AHA McKesson Quest For Quality prize. The award will be presented Sunday at an AHA conference in San Diego.

The annual $75,000-dollar prize honors hospitals that demonstrate leadership and innovation in quality, safety and commitment to patient care.

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City also were finalists for the award.
