(EDGEWOOD) - The owners of an Edgewood clothing store are hoping to capitalize on the nearby Anderson school district’s new uniform policy by ordering attire that meets the guidelines.

School Threads opened Saturday and is filled with racks of polo shirts and pants that are permitted under the Anderson Community School Corporation's new dress code.

The district's dress code limits students to black, navy or khaki pants or skirts and solid color shirts or sweaters. Students won't be allowed to wear baggy pants that sag below the waist, have exposed midriffs or wear sandals to school.
