(FORT WAYNE) - Fort Wayne-based Indiana Michigan Power is seeking up to 100 megawatts of wind energy to serve customers in Indiana and Michigan.
I&M becomes the second utility company in Indiana to announce plans to seek wind power to generate electricity.
An agreement was reached last year by Duke Energy Indiana to purchase up to 100 megawatts of wind-generated electricity from a wind farm under development in Benton County.
