(EVANSVILLE) - Whirlpool has announced it will lay off up to 30 workers at its Evansville facility by the end of the month.
The "Evansville Courier & Press" is reporting that the Evansville plant will slow its output by April 30th because of an increase in inventory.
The company is allowing workers to sign up for voluntary layoffs through Wednesday.
