Indiana To Receive Rail Benefits

(UNDATED) - A study released by the Midwest Regional Rail System says Indiana could receive up to 3.5-billion dollars in benefits, including new jobs and economic development, by joining a plan to provide passenger rail service across the Midwest.
The plan would utilize a 3,000-mile rail system connecting more than 100 communities. Indiana would be part of three routes.
Developers say the service would also ease the region's reliance on oil.
