Fort Wayne Employees To Lose Their Jobs

(FORT WAYNE) - About 150 employees at a Fort Wayne manufacturing plant will lose their jobs.
Karl Schmidt Unisia Incorporated says it decided to make the cuts after learning that the Ford Motor Company won't renew a contract with the piston maker.
The contract ends June 30th, but the plant will continue to make pistons for Ford until the car company hires a new supplier.
It's unclear when the workers will officially end employment with the company.
