Computer Disc Containing Member Names Goes Missing

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A subsidiary of Indianapolis-based Wellpoint is telling 7,500 members that a computer disc containing their personal information disappeared while being shipped between contractors.
The disc primarily includes information on people from New York state, who belong to Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The missing disc contains names, social security numbers, and health plan identification numbers.
