  • 1:29 p.m. A female was at the station to report a theft of a cell phone from a vehicle in Heltonville. The woman reported she called the phone and a male answered and said he had traded drugs for the phone. The phone pinged in the Louisville, KY area. The log said the person who stole the phone was the woman’s soon-to-be ex-husband and it was a civil matter
  • 1:53 p.m. Request for animal control in the 1000 block of South Meridian Road. The caller requested traps are set for stray cats
  • 1:58 p.m. Request for animal control in the 50 block of Allen Street in Heltonville for kittens that need to be picked up
  • 2:34 p.m. A Texas State Trooper requested a death notification from a traffic accident be delivered in the 100 block of The Woods.

  • 2:45 p.m. Wildland fire was reported in the 200 block of Burton Cemetery Road. Leaves were on fire in the woods. A male had dumped woodstove ashes in the leaves.

  • 3:58 p.m. Report of a  theft at the Dollar General store in Mitchell. The caller reported the male had put stuff down his pants and walked out of the store without paying for the items. The male was on a bicycle and was stopped in the 500 block of Oak Street and detained on a theft charge

  • 5:43 p.m. Noise complaint in the 900 block of Lawrence Street. The caller reported hearing a loud boom

  • 8:39 p.m. Bedford Police were looking for a possibly suicidal male in a 1994 green or turquoise GEO Tracker. Police checked Speedway and the boat ramp by the dealerships and were unable to locate the male
