Adams County man arrested on a child pornography charge

DECATUR – Indiana State Police, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC), initiated a criminal investigation after receiving tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that an online account had been used to store child pornography.

The investigation led to search warrants being served on Brian K. Peck, 58, and a residence located at 5565 N 600 E Decatur, IN, by the Indiana State Police (ISP) on Friday, September 16, 2022.  These searches resulted in the seizure of multiple electronic devices, as well as the arrest of Peck on related criminal charges of possession of child pornography depicting a child under 12, a Level 5 felony.

The Indiana State Police was assisted by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Adams County Prosecutor’s Office, and Decatur Police Department.
