Terre Haute man arrested for dealing LSD and marijuana

SULLIVAN CO. – Saturday, August 20, 2022, at approximately 4:15 p.m., Trooper William Clark of the Putnamville State Police Post, stopped a passenger vehicle on Section Street in Sullivan, for exceeding the posted speed limit.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was identified as Jakob D. Carlson, 21, of Terre Haute. 

During the conversation with Carlson, criminal indicators were observed.  Probable cause resulted in a search of the vehicle locating 420 grams of marijuana, 71 LSD dosage squares and over $2,000 dollars of US currency.  Carlson was taken into custody and transported to the Sullivan County Jail without incident on charges of dealing a narcotic drug, dealing marijuana, possession of a narcotic drug and possession of marijuana.
