  •  1:12 a.m. Disturbance reported on Grissom Avenue near the railroad tracks. A male was yelling as he was walking down the street. Police were unable to locate the male
  • 1:53 a.m. Officers made extra patrols on Amick Lane
  • 1:54: a.m. Officers made extra patrols on Amick Lane
  • 1:55 a.m. Officers made extra patrols on Easy Street in Mitchell
  • 2:01 a.m. Officers made extra patrols on Mill Creek Road
  • 2:53 a.m. Officers were out with a person in the 4000 block of State Road 37, north of the Marathon station. The male was given a ride to the 1300 block of State Road 158
  • 3:23 a.m. An information report was taken in the 230 block of Greer Lane. A woman reported it felt like someone was touching her and won’t let her sleep

  • 6:15: a.m. 911 call hangup on State Road 60 East. It was an accidental call
  • 7:03 a.m. Police school patrols at Shawswick School
  • 7:11 a.m. Police made school patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:12 a.m. Request for animal control to the 1000 bock of Elkins Road for a horse running loose
  • 7:33 a.m. Police made school patrols at Oolitic Middle School
  • 7:40 a.m. Police made school patrols at Springville Academy
  • 7:43 a.m. 911 call hangup in the 4450 block of Old State Road 37. The woman decided she didn’t have a medical emergency
  • 8:13: a.m. 911 call on State Road 37 at the overpass reporting a disabled vehicle
  • 8:29: a.m. Citizen assist in the 20 block of Trogdon Lane. An elderly woman reported a suspicious male at her home yesterday and was concerned he would return and was concerned for her safety and wanted to speak to an officer
  • 9:12 a.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the 210 block of Schores Lane
  • 9:48 a.m. A person was at the station to report being scammed out of $850 in a fraudulent PayPal email by someone online. The person was told to contact the Attorney General’s Office and closed their bank account
  • 10:13 a.m. Traffic stop at Meadowbrook Drive and Springville Judah Road. A citation was issued for speed
  • 10:17 a.m. A female was on station to report her mother had kicked her out of her home on Hickory Heights Circle without an eviction notice and is withholding her medical equipment from her. Her mother also made threats to her saying she hoped she dies due to not having her medical equipment. The daughter was told she will need an order to assist to get her belongings being this was a civil matter
  • 10:51 a.m. A woman was on station to report a scam. She was attempting to buy a horse online and she sent $700 but the horse was never delivered Wednesday. The woman requested to speak to an officer
  • 10:52 a.m. Follow-up investigation at Golden Corral
  • 10:56 a.m. Controlled fire in the 3340 block of Tunnelton Road
  • 11:03 a.m. 911 call in the 300 block of Mill Creek Road. It was an accidental call
  • 11:14 a.m. Traffic stop at Hoosier Avenue, south of 5th Street in Oolitic
  • 11:27 a.m. Citizen assist in the 80 block of Seneca Street. A male purchased a house on contract and was suppose to move in today but however the other occupant is still in the home
  • 11:30 a.m. Disabled vehicle reported at State Road 37 and Washboard Road
  • 11:49 a.m. Request for animal control in the 260 block of Brooke Lane for a dog running loose
  • 12:06 p.m. Report of vandalism in the 470 block of Guthrie Road. The caller requested extra patrols in the area. She believes the damage was done by teenagers
  • 12:07 p.m. Request for animal control to the 20 block of Stonington Road for a stray cat
  • 12:09 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1510 block of South Meridian Road for feral cats
  • 12:24 p.m. 911 call hang up at an unknown location. There was no response
  • 12:46 p.m. 911 call in te 1410 block of 24th Street reported her sister’s feet were covered in tar from the road and she can not walk
  • 12:56 p.m. 911 call in the 400 block of Oolitic Road
  • 1:55 p.m. A woman was at the station to report a protective order violation. She said the male was texting her
  • 2:34 p.m. Officers made school patrols at Shawswick Elementary
  • 2:35 p.m. Officers made school patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 2:36 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a red Chevrolet pickup truck traveling north from State Road 60 to Meridian Road. Police were unable to locate the vehicle
  • 2:36 p.m. Traffic stop at 5th Street and Hoosier Avenue
  • 2:44 p.m. Police made extra patrols on Brick Street in Springville
  • 2:47 p.m. Request for animal control in the 1310 block of Pete Pritchett Lane for cattle in the roadway
  • 2:48 p.m. Traffic stop on Hoosier Avenue in Oolitic
  • 2:55 p.m. A woman was at the station to report her stepmother is withholding her deceased father’s belongings. The stepmother and the male were separated but still legally married. The woman was told to get a writ of assistance
  • 2:47 p.m. Report of a disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and 16th Street
  • 2:57 p.m. Traffic stop at Teke Burton Drive and Hancock Avenue
  • 3:47 p.m. Report of vandalism in the 530 block of West Main Street. Someone broke a light and scratched up a carved limestone rock
  • 3:58 p.m. Report of a tree trimming truck causing a traffic hazard at Rariden Hill and Cassidy Lane
  • 4:10 p.m. Traffic stop in the 800 block of Stars Boulevard
  • 4:36 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard and Rabbitsville Road
  • 5:12 p.m. 911 call hang up in the 1160 block of Camelot Courts in Mitchell. No one was home when an officer arrived
  • 5:12 p.m. Report of three suspicious males standing by a vehicle on State Road 158 at Salt Creek bridge. An officer was unable to locate the vehicle or the males
  • 5:43 p.m. Citizen assist in the 2730 block of Maul Ridge Road. A child had a red mark on his face as if someone had smacked him. The caller said the mother was intoxicated and the child was not in a car seat during the custody exchange
  • 5:54 p.m. An information report was taken in the 520 block of S Street
  • 6:03 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 60
  • 6:16 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Spice Valley Road
  • 6:48 p.m. Traffic stop in the 3220 block of State Road 37. A citation was issued for a seat belt violation
  • 6:51 p.m. Domestic fight in the 900 block of Trinton Circle. A male was detained
  • 7:12 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Main Street
  • 7:19 p.m. Request for animal control in the 160 block of Ridge Road in Williams for a dog running loose
  • 7:20 p.m. Report of the possible theft of a key fob to a vehicle in the 190 block of Jr. Phillips Drive
  • 7:22 p.m. Traffic stop at Teke Burton Drive and West Main Street. A citation was issued for a seat belt violation
  • 7:28 p.m. Officers were out with a person at the Dollar General Store in Mitchell in reference to threats being made
  • 7:38 p.m. Officers were out with a vehicle in the 1400 block of West Main Street in Mitchell. There was no issue

  • 8:38 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a small child walking along the road by herself at 12th Street and Hancock Avenue
  • 8:41 p.m. Drug investigation in the 520 block of 5th Street in Mitchell. An officer found no issue
