JEFFERSON/SCOTT CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor RAM Construction Services plans to begin work later this month on a bridge rehabilitation contract that includes structures on S.R. 7 and S.R. 56 in Jefferson and Scott Counties.
S.R. 7 over Crooked Creek – Jefferson County
On or after Monday, July 11, the S.R. 7 bridge over Crooked Creek will be reduced to one lane in downtown Madison to allow crews to complete a deck overlay project. Temporary traffic signals will control traffic for approximately one week while work is in progress north of Main Street. Motorists should watch for stopped traffic as they approach the bridge.
