As Parliamentarian, Sen. Koch will advise Convention Chairman Ed Simcox and serve as a procedural advisor to the Convention.

“When I was asked to chair the nominating Convention this year, I had one request,” Simcox said. “I wanted the right to select the Parliamentarian because of the critical role that person plays. When given that right I immediately called Senator Koch. His knowledge and reputation make him the perfect person to help run the convention.”

“I’m looking forward to an exciting convention and am grateful for the opportunity to serve our Party and the Delegates as Parliamentarian,” said Sen. Koch.

In 2016, Sen. Koch served as Co-Chairman GOP State Convention Platform Committee and as
Chairman of the Resolutions Committee.

Sen. Koch, an attorney in private practice with offices in Bedford and Bloomington, is a Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He serves Senate District 44, which includes all or parts of Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence, and Monroe Counties, and will include Orange County beginning in November 2022.
