John S. Kern age 74 of Bedford passed away on May 31, 2022, at his residence.
He was born in Lawrence County on May 23, 1948, to William W. Kern and Mildred J. (Bair) Kern. John was retired from Arizona Public Service, was a US Navy Veteran, and a member of the American Legion and the Bedford Boat Club.
He is survived by his brother Joseph Kern of Williams and his wife Trisha, two nephews, Bailee B. Maple and Zachary (Noelle) Maple, and niece, Madison A. (Caleb) Covey, and several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William W. Kern, Jr.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
