BEDFORD – Lawrence County deputies arrested 47-year-old Stephanie Connolly on a warrant charging her with intimidation, harassment, and criminal mischief after an incident on May 13, 2022.

According to a probable cause affidavit on that day, at 3:58 p.m. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a home at 1118 Beaver Creek Road after a resident reported she and a male living at the home were being threatened by Connolly.

The male had received threatening text messages on his phone toward his girlfriend.

While officers were at the home, Connolly arrived at the residence.

Connolly, who has occupied the residence since November 2021, admitted to officers she had sent threatening messages “to a random number” and did tear up the lingerie. She claimed she found the lingerie in a dresser that she and the male shared on the property.

The male and female agreed to depart from the home.

On May 14, 2021, police received emails from both the male and female saying Connolly had again threatened them.

The information was forwarded to the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office and a warrant was issued for Connolly’s arrest.
