Free Fishing Days are June 4-5

INDIANA – Indiana offers four Free Fishing Days each year to provide Indiana residents the chance to fish without the need for a fishing license.

The weekend of June 4 and 5 marks two of those days. Take the weekend to spend time by the water with family or friends.

Not sure where to go? Visit our Where to Fish page to view free, public access fishing spots throughout Indiana.

On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to fish the state’s public waters. All other rules such as seasons, bag, and size limits apply.
