LAWRENCE COUNTY – During the Lawrence County Council meeting Tuesday evening, the board made an appointment to the Bedford Public Library Board of Trustees.
Council member Janie Craig Chenault made the suggestion of appointing Nick Webb with Hoosier Hills Credit Union to the board. She said he is willing to serve and she feels he is the right man for the position.
No other appointments were made during the meeting, and the board approved the appointment. The next steps include getting Mr. Webb’s signature and notarizing it for the clerk’s records.
