BLOOMINGTON – Congratulations to Downtown Resource Officer Amy Romoser who was named the 2022 Outstanding First Responder by Mental Health America of Monroe County.
She was praised for her work with community partners, her dedication to connecting people experiencing homelessness to the necessary resources, and her ability to build rapport with those she assists.
Congratulations also to Detective Lieutenant Lucas Tate and Detective Kevin Frank who were nominated for the award, and to Senior Police Social Worker Melissa Stone who was nominated for Outstanding Mental Health Provider.
