Indiana Chamber updates popular Employer Guide

INDIANAPOLIS — One of the Indiana Chamber’s most popular business publications has just been updated and is launching this month. The Worker’s Compensation Handbook is a comprehensive yet easy-to-understand guide featuring the latest information employers need for handling worker’s compensation issues.

“It’s been eight years since the last version was published,” explains Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar. “While the basic principles around the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Act have changed little, there have been significant modifications to some of the specifics – all of which are included in this Seventh Edition of the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Handbook.”

Authored by attorneys at Due Doyle Fanning & Alderfer, LLP in Indianapolis, the guide is designed to prepare readers for the benefit rate changes effective in 2023 – the first since 2016 – and provides tools for compliance and participation.

Besides the updated general information, key topics covered include compensability considerations, statutory benefits, dispute resolution, claims issues, and a complete collection of forms.

The Seventh Edition of the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Handbook is available as a traditional book or e-pub. To order it or peruse the Indiana Chamber’s entire library of business resources, visit www.indianachamber.com/publications.
