Bloomington Chamber accepting nominations for 2022 Ten Under 40 Awards

BLOOMINGTON – The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for recipients of the 11th Annual Ten Under 40 Awards.

The Ten Under 40 Awards recognize and honor individuals between the ages of 21 and 40 years old who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their workplace and community involvement. Through the actions and initiatives of these local young professionals, they serve as an inspiration, helping others to excel. 

Award Eligibility:

  • The nominees must be younger than 40 years of age before August 1, 2022.
  • Nominees must make a significant impact within their organization through their leadership and work ethic, while also giving back to the community through civic involvement.
  • Chamber membership is not required; however, nominees who live outside of Monroe County must be a Chamber member in good standing.
  • Self-nominations are accepted.
  • The nominees must not have won a Ten Under 40 award in the past (see list of past recipients online).

Nomination forms are due on or before Monday, June 6, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. An online nomination and downloadable PDF option is available at ChamberBloomington.org/YPB. Nominations may be submitted electronically as an email attachment to jbrown@ChamberBloomington.org.

The Ten Under 40 Awards are part of The Chamber’s young professionals program, YPB – Young Professionals Bloomington. YPB is a free program that offers networking opportunities, professional development, and personal growth to local young professionals. 

The 11th Annual Ten Under 40 Awards will be held in the evening on Friday, July 22, 2022.
