The Movement is the April Equity Spotlight Award Winner

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington High School North’s student group, The Movement, was honored with the April Equity Spotlight award for planning and developing an all-school convocation.

The assembly is devoted to educating students, faculty, and staff members about identifying macro and microaggression, awareness of the negative impact on students and the school environment, and our collective responsibility to address them. 

The Movement founders are Zoey Burchenson, Mariah and Unique Busch, Alaena Cimmer, Jackson Crenshaw, Mackenzie Lynch, Avery Njau, Jurzee Terry, Aiden Woods.
