INDOT wants to hear feedback from drivers in Lawrence, Knox, and Spencer Counties

INDIANA – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is gathering feedback from the public as it develops solutions designed to improve traffic flow and safety in Lawrence, Spencer, and Knox counties.

The Project Team is analyzing crash data and traffic count information and gathering additional information, including feedback from motorists. The questionnaire will be available through Friday, May 6.

Improvements are being planned at State Road 37 and Washboard Road, and State Road 17 and Wesley Chapel Road (CR 500 S)

Lawrence County Motorists

Drivers in Spencer and Knox counties, INDOT wants to hear your thoughts on the median U-turns added in recent years.

There are median U-turns at:

  • U.S. 231 and S.R. 70
  • U.S. 231 and S.R. 62
  • U.S. 231 and S.R. 68
  • U.S. 41 and Old U.S. 41
  • U.S. 41 and Freelandville Road
