Martha A. (Pemberton) Kendall, 79. of Mitchell passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 4:40 a.m. at Mitchell Manor.
She was born in Bloomington on September 22, 1942, to Edna (Marsh) Nelson. She was a graduate of Needmore High School and a member of Gullett’s Creek Baptist Church, she retired from Beltone Hearing Aids in Bedford. Martha married Carol D. Kendall on March 8, 1986, and he survives.
Survivors include her husband, Carol D. Kendall of Mitchell, and two children, Denise (Dale, Jr.) Maple of Bedford, Brian (Lisa) Anderson of Bedford, two step-children, Cheryl (John) Broux of Luten, England, and Michael D.
Kendall of Mitchell, eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her mother, three brothers, Bob Pemberton, Ron Pemberton, and Donald Pemberton, one step-son, Phillip Kendall.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Memory Gardens, with Mary Hollis, officiating, entombment will follow her services.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
