Court of Appeals kicks off Historical Book Tour

INDIANAPOLIS – The Court of Appeals of Indiana officially announces the release of its historical court biographies book. A landmark contribution to state history, the 475-page book features biographies and photos of all judges who served on the court from 1891 to 2020.

Court of Appeals judges will visit bar associations across the State during a series of events to give away free copies of the book and to share lighthearted stories and anecdotes about life in the judiciary.

The book tour will kick off on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Evening with the Appellate Judges event hosted by the Indiana State Bar Association. Every attendee of the event will receive a complimentary copy of the book. Lawyers interested in attending the event may register at www.inbar.org/events.

Bar Associations interested in hosting a Court of Appeals Book Tour Event may contact the Court’s Communications Director, Anne Fuchs at anne.fuchs@courts.in.gov.

The Court of Appeals of Indiana is Indiana’s second-highest court. The Court of Appeals of Indiana book is written to share the Court’s 130-year story with the public.
