Obituary: Larry E. Randolph

November 3, 1941 – April 15, 2022

Larry E. Randolph, 80, of East Oolitic, passed away at 10:26 p.m., on Friday, April 15, 2022, at his residence.

Born November 3, 1941, in Oolitic, he was the son of Ernest and Ruby (Hillenburg) Randolph. He married Linda Gilbert on July 12, 1969, and she survives. Larry retired from the shipping department at Otis Elevator in 2003. He was a graduate of Oolitic High School with the class of 1959. He was a member of the Bedford Eagles Club, the Moose Lodge, and a life member of the Bedford Boat & Sportsman’s Club where he served as Commodore in 1987. Larry loved his family and would do anything to make them happy. He enjoyed playing cards, cooking and wood carving. He was known by all to be an expert cook, with his specialties being chicken and dumplings and peach cobbler using peaches he canned. He then carved cute monkeys and baskets from the peach pits. Larry Loved to make others happy with his cooking.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda, of Oolitic; a son, Joe Randolph and wife, Sharon, of Orleans; a daughter, Jeanie Tolbert and husband, Wes, of Mitchell; grandsons, Mason Brasher, Matthew Walker, and Nicklas Randolph.

A Celebration of Life will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23rd in the family center of the Bedford
Moose Lodge.
