Dogwood Festival Baby Contest results are announced

ORLEANS – The Dogwood Festival Baby Contest brought in 39 contestants, looking to win their age category.

Each group went to the stage to interact with the judges and was judged on appearance and overall interaction with each judge. Judges included Candi Maddox, Lori Johnson, Greta Turner, and Carol Thacker.

0-3 Months:
Boys: 1st place – Kane Edwards, with parents Jonathan Edwards and Maya Emmons.

Girls: 1st place – Lyla Griffith, with parents Porsha and Ethan Griffith.
2nd place – Remi Jean Atkins, with parents Samantha and Brian Atkins.

2nd place – Mary Anne Hayre, with parents Chris and Mallery Hayre.
3rd place – Journey Asbury, with parents Shandalyn Dotts and Andrew Asbury.
