Linton woman dies from injuries suffered in a three-vehicle accident

JASONVILLE – Three people were injured in a three-vehicle accident on North State Road 59 and County Road 400 North in Jasonville Wednesday. One succumbed to their injuries.

The accident was reported at 5:33 p.m.

Two drivers were transported to the Greene County General Hospital with severe injuries They were 39, year-old Patricia Hall of Oaktown, IN. and Karen “Sue” McDonald, 77, of Linton.

McDonald died from her injuries at Greene County General Hospital.

Cheryl Swan, 57, of Blackwood, New Jersey was transported by Air Evac to Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis.

The highway was shut down until just after 7 p.m. due to the investigation.

Assisting at the scene were Greene County Emergency Medical Service, Wright Township Fire Department, Air
Evac 39, Air Evac 17, Linton Police Department, Linton Fire Department Jasonville Police Department, and Indiana State Police.

According to Greene County Deputy Caleb Sipes, the accident remains under investigation.
