Two people were arrested on drug charges after police served a search warrant while investigating rape

BONO TOWNSHIP – On Wednesday, April 6th, at 10:27 a.m. detectives and deputies from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, led by Detective Sergeant Michael Ramos, executed a search warrant on a camper located in the 1200 block of Tunnelton-Bono Road.

There is no physical address for the property, so longitude and latitude coordinates were used when applying for the search warrant. The search warrant was obtained as part of a rape investigation.

Deputies seized multiple items listed on the search warrant and during their search, they also found a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance weighing over 20 grams, which field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
