Suspicious lights illuminate the Northeast side of Green Hill Cemetery

BEDFORD – Bedford Police officers were requested to Green Hill Cemetery on 18th Street after a report of multiple people walking around with flashlights in the cemetery in the early morning hours.

Police had been asked to make extra patrols in the cemetery due to people finding syringes in the cemetery.

An officer checked the area and stopped 43-year-old Chrystal Toler, of Bedford, walking home from a friends house, north on K Street, on the northeast side of the cemetery.

Toler told the officer she did have a flashlight while walking through the cemetery and was taking pictures Police did not find anyone else in the cemetery with Toler.

Toler allowed officers to search her person and purse. Officers crystal meth inside a black plastic container.

Toler was arrested on a charge of possession of meth.
