During the National competition on March 5th, the team was able to place second in Kick and second place in Pom, and continued this past weekend at the Indiana State Championship, winning the State Championship title in the three categories of Kick, Pom, and Jazz, which is the first time in MHS History the team had swept all three categories.

In response to their impressive season, the Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department is inviting community members to come and celebrate the success of the team and show your appreciation as they will lead a precession with these great young women around town to celebrate their achievements starting at 6:00 p.m. at the city pool.

The department will be leaving from the pool down Hancock Avenue to 8th street, then from 8th street to Main street. The group will then drive up Main Street to State Road 37 back to the city pool on Hancock Avenue.
