Kindergarten enrollment now open for Lawrence County Schools

LAWRENCE COUNTY – With the Month of March rolling in, comes the next round of Kindergarten Registration with Schools in Lawrence County accepting enrollment for Kindergarten aged children.

NLCS Lincoln, Needmore, Shawswick, Oolitic School, and Parkview Elementary Schools have opened their kindergarten registration with set dates to go by the schools and meet the Principal and Teachers. On these dates you can also learn about their activities, and learn more about the school your children will be attending.

An RSVP is needed to stop by each of these schools on Thursday, March 31st from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Parkview and Shawswick Elementary Schools will also include an additional day to visit on Tuesday, March 29th also at 5:00 p.m.

Mitchell Community Schools will also host their Kindergarten roundup on Tuesday, April 12. There is a survey to take for this as well, to get a headcount on how many students they can anticipate during the round-up.

Lawrence County Independent Schools, the Springville Community Academy, and St. Vincent de Paul Schools will also be taking registration for students for the 2022-2023 School year.

Immunization records and a state-issued birth certificate will be required for each child along with a proof of address for the NLCS Schools.
