Annetta Kaye Moore, 72, of Mitchell, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born December 22, 1949, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Wayne and ruby Ethel (Martin) Payton. She married Dean Moore on August 1, 1980.
Annetta was a floral designer and had been employed at the Indiana Flower Shop and Bailey’s Flowers and Gifts. She loved being with her grandkids and traveling. Annetta enjoyed gardening, flowers, animals, and fishing. She was a 1967 graduate of Tunnelton High School.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Moore of Mitchell; children, Keenan Len (Carolyn) Snow of Mitchell, Lora (Andy) Stewart of Bloomington, Deana Gayle (Jerry) Nicholson of Springville, Nathan Wayne Snow of Mitchell, Rickey Wayne Moore of Bloomington; 12 grandchildren; brother, Roger Dean Payton of Bedford; sisters, Priscilla Rose Smoot of Bedford; Martha Ann West of Springville
Her parents and siblings, Harold Wayne Payton, Joyce Louise Terry, Morris Edward Payton, James Russell Payton, Janet Sue Hobson, Donald Lee Payton, Mary Jane Bewely, David Lynn Payton, and Robert Dale Payton, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will be in Tunnelton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
