SEYMOUR – The Jackson County Emergency Management Agency is sponsoring a session of the National Weather Service’s SKYWARN storm spotter training at 6 p.m. on March 10th at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 504 North Walnut Street in Seymour.
The National Weather Services encourages anyone with an interest in public service to join the SKYWARN program. Volunteers include police and fire personnel, dispatchers, EMS workers, public utility workers, and other concerned private citizens.
Admission is free, and no advance registration is necessary. The training typically takes a couple of hours.
