ORLEANS – Due to the winter storm Town Offices are closed today. If you have an emergency situation or need immediate assistance please contact the Orleans Police Department.
Town officials and emergency personnel are monitoring the storm closely and are reporting at this hour that conditions are deteriorating rapidly and are expected to worsen as the day goes on. Some ice buildup has begun on trees and power lines.
Travel is discouraged if at all possible as driving conditions on local roads and streets are expected to become treacherous in the coming hours.
