Indiana Nongame Wildlife Fund celebrating 40th birthday

INDIANA – The Indiana Nongame Wildlife Fund is celebrating its 40th birthday this year.

Thanks to donors, partners, and volunteers, the fund has achieved many conservation successes.

To commemorate its 40 years of conservation work, officials are going to share 40 stories highlighting projects from the past and present, as well as visions for the future.

The stories are organized into themed months and will feature project successes, partners, donors, biologists, technology advances, and what we’ve learned from the data collected.

In January, you can learn about the origin of the fund, a lifetime of work completed by one of the retired biologists, and more.
