Gov. Holcomb to deliver 2022 State of the State address tonight

INDIANA – Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb will deliver his 2022 State of the State Address Tuesday night. The governor will outline the plan he and his administration have for this year.

It starts at 6 p.m. Central Time and is expected to last about 30 minutes.

According to political exporters the governor’s previous addresses we can expect him to discuss education, economic development, and COVID.

The speech allows the governor a chance to lay out his priorities for the legislative session and talk about his accomplishments over the past year. This includes the budget surplus the state saw which will result in Hoosiers getting credited in this year’s tax return.

When it comes to COVID the conversation is expected to be on mandates.

After the speech, the Democratic Party is scheduled to give a response.

The speech will be aired on WBIW 1340 AM and streamed on WBIW.com.
