Philip L. “Phil” Pfeiffer

September 26, 1948 – December 6, 2021

Philip L. Pfeiffer came into this world on September 26, 1948, and went home to be with his Heavenly Father on December 6, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Phil grew up in Washington, NJ, where he spent his early years farming his uncle’s land. He graduated from Washington High School in 1967. After High School, Phil was drafted to Vietnam, where he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for bravery.

Once home, he married the love of this life, Geraldine. They went on to raise a daughter and start a thriving business in Bedford, IN. Phil founded and ran Phedcomm with his wife for the last 26 years. Disney was his second love and he looked forward to those yearly vacations; those memories he held close to him and were some of his fondest. Those who knew Phil, knew his gruff, no bones demeanor; if it was on his mind, he let you know. However, you also knew that he had a heart of gold and would do anything for you. Phil had no friends; you were all family to him and all of you held a place in his heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Phil is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Geraldine Pfeiffer; daughter and son-in-law, Royce and Phyllis Keeling; grandson and his pride and joy, Kadon Keeling; nephews who were like his sons and their families, Joseph and Rosalia Jurkivo (Joseph, Gianna, Bianca), Ryan Concilio, Michael Concilio and Jackie (Ellianna); sister-in-law, Marlene Jurkivo; his dear family friend who was like a son and his wife, Ryan and Julie Sullivan; as well as many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Morgan, and stepfather, Earnest Morgan.

Visitation for Phil will be Monday, December 13, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Phil’s name to Tunnels to Towers or any charitable
organization of your choosing.

Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.FergusonLee.com.
