Rescue Robin from a cage in Rural King parking lot – Donate to White River Humane Society

BEDFORD – Robin Compton, of Springville, and his pack of six huskies are currently locked in a cage enduring Indiana’s unpredictable weather in the parking lot at Rural King and will remain in that cage for 20 days or until he raises $20,000 for the White River Humane Society.

This morning he was given $500 toward that goal by one generous person.

Compton spent his first night in the cage Tuesday night with his five rescued canine companions, – Alo, Sadie, Yuna, Balto, and Lakota -who joined his family last year after they were left abandoned in a home near Mitchell and taken to the White River Humane Society.

The fundraiser is important and will help the staff at the White River Humane Society provide care and medical needs to the unwanted animals of Lawrence County.

If you don’t plan to visit Compton at Rural King, you can still donate by visiting the White River Humane Society on Facebook or visiting their website at whiteriverhumanesociety.org or click here to donate on PayPal.
