Michael Alexander “Alex” Mahan, 26, of Mitchell passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at his residence.
He was born in Bloomington, Indiana on December 6, 1994, to Justin Mahan and Amy (Eager) Mahan, he was of the Christian faith and was a graduate of Mitchell High School Class of 2013.
Survivors include his father, Justin Mahan of Orleans, one sister, Alyssa Mahan and her fiancé Ethan Bohnenkamp of Mitchell, grandmothers, Jacqueline Sue Eager of Mitchell and Rhonda Mahan of Orleans, uncles, Marty Eager of Mitchell, Gary Eager of Mitchell, and Noah Mahan of Paoli, aunt, Brandi (Mike) Kern of Orleans, several cousins
He was preceded in death by his mother, Amy (Eager) Mahan, grandfathers, Michael Eager and Donald Mahan.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home.
