BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Council adopted their budget Monday morning.
The council voted to approve a budget of $27,403,159.
The vote on the budget was delayed after the county auditor submitted the budget to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance. Due to technical problems at the DLG, the county did not receive the budget ordinance in time for the Tuesday council meeting.
