NSWC Crane hosting second annual Virtual STEM Career Fair Thursday

CRANE – Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) is hosting its second annual Virtual Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Career Fair from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. EST on October 28.

The NSWC Crane 2021 Virtual STEM Career Fair is open for registration, and hiring professionals in the organization seeking candidates at the intern, entry-level, and experienced journey-level across STEM positions. Positions are available in internships and full-time.

Therron Thomas, a Recruiter at NSWC Crane, says this is an exciting opportunity for people across the country to learn more about NSWC Crane and its mission.

“This is our second year holding our annual career fair virtually,” says Thomas. “NSWC Crane needs the top STEM talent to meet the mission of supporting the warfighter, and top talent exists all over the country. You can be anywhere in the US and attend the event online, learn more about opportunities at NSWC Crane, and apply for available positions.”

NSWC Crane is specifically seeking electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer scientists. Other STEM fields such software, optical, and industrial engineering, and other STEM majors are encouraged to attend as well.

NSWC Crane professionals from Electronic Warfare, Expeditionary Warfare, and Strategic Missions will be participating in the event as well as partner organizations at Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) and WestGate@Crane Technology Park.
