Bloomington Parks and Recreation’s Kid City Fall Break Days

BLOOMINGTON – Kid City Break Days present summer-style fun when Monroe County Community School Corporation is out for fall break.

Kids enrolled in Break Days stay active all day with games, skits and songs, and more! Kid City follows CDC guidelines for child care while providing fun and social interactions.

Break Days take place at the Allison-Jukebox Community Center, at 351 South Washington Street in Bloomington. Break Day hours are 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Children should be dropped off by 8:30 a.m. and can be picked up beginning at 4 p.m

Break Days are for children in grades K through 6. The registration fee is $40 per child per day (Bloomington residents) or $45 per child per day (out-of-city residents). Each Kid City camper should bring lunch and snacks each day.

  • Thursday, Oct. 7  – Register by 9/27 at 5 p.m. Registration code 345101-A
  • Friday, Oct. 8 – Register by 9/27 at 5 p.m. Registration code 345101-B
  • Tuesday, Nov. 2  – Register by 10/25 at 5 p.m. Registration code 345101-C

There are several ways to register for Break Days!
Register in person inside City Hall, 401 N. Morton St., Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Save time by printing and filling out the registration and health forms or fill out the ​​​​​​​registration and health forms and mail them, along with payment in full, to: Bloomington Parks and Recreation, PO Box 848. Bloomington, IN  47402, Mail-in registration must be received by the registration deadline or you can register online for Fall Break Days.

Break Days are inclusive, serving camp-ready children with and without disabilities. Reasonable accommodation requests must be made at least two weeks prior to the registration deadline. Download and fill out a request for reasonable accommodation.

Scholarships for Break Days are available through the Bloomington Parks Foundation. The deadline to apply for Break Days scholarships is one week prior to the registration deadline.
