Motorcycle crashes into cow sends Palmyra man to the hospital

WASHINGTON CO. – On Tuesday, September 14th, at approximately 11:14 p.m., deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a motorcycle crash with injuries on Bear Creek Road, in Jackson Township.

Gregory Brown, 52, of Palmyra, was driving his 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle east on Bear Creek Road when he crashed into a black cow that was standing in the roadway.

Brown was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He suffered what police believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to U of L Hospital in Lousiville, Ky, by Floyd County Ambulance Service for treatment.
