FAYETTEVILLE – The 2021 Fayetteville Lions Club Fall Bean Supper originally scheduled for the second Saturday in October has been canceled due to the increase in COVID.
This will make the fourth semi-annual bean supper the group has canceled. The group was also not able to have a booth to sell their corn on the cob at the Lawrence County 4-H Fair for the last two years.
These fundraisers enable the Fayetteville Community Lions Club to improve and increase activities for the kids at the park. The cancellation of these fundraisers have negatively impacted the club’s ability to raise funds needed to execute future plans and to fulfill their mission.
