Learn all about Archaeology and the production of Hoosier spirits

INDIANA – The Division of Historic Preservation & Archaeology (DHPA) announces a new addition to its archaeology handouts.

This latest document was written by Research Archaeologist Rachel Sharkey and focuses on the 2021 Indiana Archaeology Month theme –  Archaeology and the Production of Hoosier Spirits.

Find out what you can learn from old bottles, which modern-day distilleries and breweries are embracing heritage Hoosier spirits, and how this movement is fostering a sense of local pride in our state.

This document will shortly join the DHPA’s other archaeology handouts on our Publications webpage.
